​I have been a specialty Boot Fitter since the late 70's. Since the turn of the century, my wife Cindy and I, and our Staff have operated BOOTech, Inc. at the base of Aspen Highlands. Our focus at BOOTech isn't just making boots comfortable, it's about improving performance. Most boot fitting is about its "too tight here and too loose there". Stance based boot fitting adapts the boots to the individual's geometry instead of the other way around. Our clients run the range from FIS Athletes, Ski Instructors to never evers and everyone in between. In addition to working with our customers, we provide Training Seminars to Ski Schools, PSIA and other Boot fitters with the Sidas Academy. I have been asked to be a Presenter at the Sidas Congress in Lech, Austria in 2026. I also provide consulting services to several of our Vendors and am currently a member of the Salomon Blue Circle Development Team in Annecy, France.
