Marc Stewart

​Marc Stewart has been helping skiers find the perfect fit since 1989, when he got his start at the iconic Boot Doctors in Taos, NM. He’s a PSIA-Rocky Mountain Level III instructor and regularly runs stance and alignment clinics for PSIA’s Eastern Division. Along the way, he earned his Board Certification in Pedorthics from Ball State University and founded the Southwest Orthotic Lab in Taos. Over the years, Marc has been part of MasterFit University’s teaching team, sharing his bootfitting expertise in places as far-reaching as Kitzbühel, Austria and Jindabyne, Australia, and he’s tested boots for SKI and Skiing Magazine’s annual gear reviews. In 2024, he joined the SIDAS Academy instructor staff. Since 2010, he’s been the lead bootfitter at The Shop (formerly Boot Lab) at the base of Windham Mountain Club in Northern New York — where he’s still making sure every skier gets a boot that feels just right
