Previous Scholarship Winners

Proceeds from the annual Online Congress Events hosted by the Global Association of Professional Boot Fitters help fund the scholarship program. The scholarships awarded each year are intended to offset some of the costs associated with attending professional training programs for aspiring boot fitters. Below is a list of previous scholarship winners.

Colton Poldrugovac

The Global Boot Fitters Scholarship provided me with the opportunity to travel out to Denver to complete the masters course with Masterfit. It was my first time in the Western United States and being able to meet likeminded individuals in the industry was an amazing experience. I was able to learn a few tricks and techniques that allowed me to hit the ground running for my first season with Boot Solutions out in Niseko. The event was a great way to get my mind in the fitting headspace again before the season and I’d definitely recommend it to others with a similar level of experience as myself.

I'd like to say a huge thank you to The Global Association of Professional Bootfitters. I received a scholarship offer from the Global Association to attend this course and without them I likely would have struggled to get out to the courses in America. The booking fee’s for their symposium helps to make these scholarships possible and continue to develop the skills of ski bootfitters around the world. I attended the MasterFit University at Mount Snow, Vermont. I participated in the Dark Arts course and have learned a huge amount regarding everything from stance and alignment and plastics properties and modification techniques. These training courses are well worth the investment as the knowledge the instructors have and pass onto you is incredible!
